Wanted!
Quilts Made by Kids
for the
East Bay Heritage Quilt Guild's
2006 Voices in Cloth Quilt Show
As in our past exhibits, we are planning to include a display of quilts made
by young people in the EBHQ Quilt Show. We are looking for those
innovative ways that teachers have integrated quiltmaking into all
areas of the curriculum.
We are encouraging young people, in groups or individually,
to have fun while making quilts for Children's Quilts/EBHQ, a
program sponsored by our guild.
Special exhibit features for younger quilters include free entry to the
show when accompanied by a paying adult, a display of quilt-related
books for children, hands-on quilting activities, and a special Treasure
Hunt with a prize for every student who participates.
