Alameda County Arts Commission Exhibit of EBHQ Quilts - Oct 29 - Feb. 21

Now on display: the annual ACAC exhibit at the Alameda County Administration Building. This show was a huge success last year with the approximately 6,500 County employees and visitors to the building. This year, the exhibit runs from Oct. 29, 2018 - Feb. 21, 2019 at the Alameda County Administration Building, 1221 Oak Street, Floors 1 and 5, Oakland, CA (3 blocks from Lake Merritt BART). The show is located in well-lit, secure areas with high traffic open to the public during normal working hours, Monday-Friday.

Be sure to take some time to see these wonderful quilts.

Coming in April - the EBHQ Silent Auction

The ever popular EBHQ SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER is returning.

We will start collecting donations of “table-top” size items at the February and March Educational Sessions, Meet-Ups in February through April, and Drop-Ins until April 20th. Jean Wolslegel and Paula Zurowski will be available for collection. Your fun articles will make this function a hit. Handmade items have been the best sellers in the past. Everything you submit is very much appreciated.

The link to the donation form (online submissions only) is available here.

Please bring your things in a bag or box for easy handling, plus the printed page from your submission.

We need your help setting up this event. Be at the church by 6:30 pm, on April 29th, for placing the items on the tables that evening. You get the first peek!

As a final note, plan to bring a friend (friends are free for our April meeting!!) and help us generate a lively auction for the benefit of EBHQ.

Contact Jean Wolslegel (510-521-7105) or Paula Zurowski (510-235-1713) with questions.
