EBHQ - Small Grants Supporting Quilting
EBHQ is seeking non-profit, 501(c)(3) applicants for small grants to fund quilt-related projects.
The funding may be used for any purpose in line with our mission, and has been awarded to local and statewide groups in the past for such uses as quilt-making projects and public exhibits, quilt preservation and historical documentation activities, and educational and hands-on projects in schools and communities.
EBHQ's annual grant-making program may be needed more this year than in the past, sue to tough economic
times that are squeezing community groups, arts and education projects, and social programs.
The EBHQ board hopes to receive several applications this year.
A total of $5,000 is available this year and EBHQ members are encouraged to spread the word about the grants to eligible groups.
A completed application is required.
The application form and guidelines may be viewed and downloaded from the EBHQ website.
It can also be sent through the mail by contacting Suzi Stone by phone, 510-758-1447 or by email, HZS1@netzero.net.
The deadline for submitting a proposal is Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Questions may be directed to Suzi or any
board member.
