Entry Rules for Marketplace

At the Guild Marketplace we will be selling quilts, wall hangings, wearables and fiber arts such as scarves, purses, table runners.  The prices for these items are set by the item maker with a minimum of $30.  EBHQ will retain 25% of the selling price of each item, or, the item maker may donate up to the full proceeds to the guild.  EBHQ will also collect tax on the selling price and forward it to the state. When payment for the item is received from the buyer, the item will change hands. The member will be notified of the sale by the Marketplace committee a few days after the show.  The seller will receive a check and an accounting of each of their items sold. Items not sold must be picked up by 5:30 pm on the last day of the show.  If you are not available, please designate your alternate.

Participants will need to volunteer at least two hours to help with the Guild Marketplace.  This is in addition to any VIC volunteer commitment.

Entrants must be members of EBHQ.  If you would like to join the guild, click here.

Any number of fiber art items may be entered, providing space is available.

The maximum size of a quilt that can be hung is 60" x 60".  Larger quilts will be folded.  If you want your quilt hung it will need a sleeve attached to the back.

Attach a label to the back of the quilt on the bottom left corner.  Label garments and other items also.  Include your name and the name of the item.

Entrants must check off the box on the online entry form for the Insurance Waiver and Assumption of Loss form.
