Destination: Garment District!

Every current EBHQ member may display one Wearable entry in VIC 2020. You may also submit a second entry, which may be accepted depending on space and layout constraints. Wearables entries may be Single Items or Ensembles, and include: Jackets, Vests, Blouses, Dresses, Trousers, Aprons, Scarves &/or Bags.

To enter your Wearable/Garment District items for the show, please review the detailed entry rules here and complete the online entry form here. The online form will accommodate two Wearable/Garment District entries if you want to submit a second entry for consideration. Alternately, you can complete a paper entry form for each Wearable entry you submit. (You will find the paper entry forms at the end of the newsletter.) Either way you choose to enter your items, you’ll need to complete and submit a Photo Form (on paper, with an actual photograph) for each entry. The form is also available at the end of this newsletter for you to print and use. Again, EVERY entrant needs to submit the paper photo form, regardless of how you submit your entry (online or on paper.)

If you have a Wearable item in the show, you are required to do 4 hours of volunteer work at the show. More volunteer time is welcome. Complete the volunteer form here.

If you choose to offer your EXHIBITED Wearable item for sale, there is a strict procedure for sales. Items sold CANNOT be taken from the display before the close of show & must be sold through the guild’s “Sales Book.” You will set the price for the item for sale, and 25% of the sale price will go to EBHQ. Alternately you can submit non-exhibited items for Cash & Carry sale to the Marketplace. (See detailed information about Marketplace) More information about the sale process will be included with your acceptance packet in February.
