The 2008 Voices in Cloth show will feature two special exhibits, Jennifer
Chiaverini and fiber art pieces from the California Fiber Artists.
Our first featured artist is Jennifer Chiaverini,
the author of the "Elm Creek" novels.
These novels use the quilting community as their theme.
She has also written two quilt project books inspired by the "Elm Creek" series.
She will exhibit quilts featured in the quilt project books.
Also, she'll be at the exhibit in person to sign her books for show
attendees at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12.
You can visit with her then and enjoy her quilts in the show
Our second featured artists are from the
California Fiber Artists.
This eclectic group of about 20 artists produces cutting-edge examples
of the fine art of fiber arts.
Their work is shown collectively at national and international museums and galleries.
Enjoy this exhibit that stretches the imagination as well as the boundaries of fiber arts.
