Wanted! Quilts Made by Kids for the East Bay Heritage Quilt Guild's 2008 Voices in Cloth Quilt ShowAs in our past quilt shows, we are planning to include a display of quilts made by young children. We are looking for those innovative ways that teachers have integrated quiltmaking into all areas of the curriculum. We are encouraging students, in groups or individually, to have fun while making quilts for Children's Quilts/EBHQ, a program sponsored by our guild. Special exhibit features for younger quilters include free entry to the show when accompanied by a paying adult, a display of quilt-related books for children, hands-on quilting activities, and a special Treasure Hunt with a prize for every child who participates.
