Community QuiltsEBHQ members have a long history of sharing quilting expertise, time, and love with others. Individual members often make beautiful raffle quilts for fund raising efforts in local schools and organizations. The Deanna Davis Community Quilt Project volunteers (previously Children's Quilt Project) donate over 1000 quilts a year to local children and youth organizations. Community Quilt volunteers have also stitched full size quilts to comfort several communities affected by California fires and other natural disasters. And, our healing quilts have anonymously comforted local young people affected by unspeakable violence. You are most welcome to join us in our current quilt projects:

The Latest Community Quilt NewsThe guild had a wonderful time September 19 at Drop-in working on quilts for the folks of Lake County. The next day we were able to send 30 adult and 30 child size quilts to the victims of the valley fire with the Alameda County Reserve Firefighters.Special thanks to Carolyn Weil, Susan Dague, Marcia Alpert, and Jean Wolslegel for putting this work day together on such short notice, and to all who helped on Saturday. |
