Deanna Davis Community Quilt Project (DDCQP)
A community service of EBHQ

Changing a name is never easy, but in this case renaming Children's Quilts to Deanna Davis Community Quilt Project (DDCQP) give us great pleasure to name it in honor of an EBHQ member who served it faithfully for almost 30 years.  This heading encompasses a community service of EBHQ and includes "Children's Quilt Project" and "Community Quilt Bank."  We make and distribute ALL sizes - small quilts for babies and children, medium sizes for tweens, and larger quilts for teens aging out of foster care and for families in need of disaster relief.

Each year our generous member stitch and assemble over 1000 quilt for distribution to those in need of support and comfort. It's an accomplishment we all should be very proud of. The smiles of the recipients warms the heart. Thank you ALL for making it possible.

Thank you note

From a relieved new mom:

"Thank you! My daughter just graduated from the NICU and we were given one of your beautiful quilts. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to have something so wonderful to warm and wrap my daughter in. Your hard work is very appreciated. Thank you!"

Keep sewing those Comfort Quilts.
