Did you know EBHQ can issue grant money to qualified organizations?
The Executive Board may make grant(s) to an organization which is in compliance with Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Grant money must support the purposes of EBHQ and are subject to applicable sections of the EBHQ by laws (see Grant Rules).
The purpose of EBHQ is to preserve and continue the traditions, culture, and history of quilting; to promote fellowship among interested persons in all aspects of quilting; to contribute to the knowledge of and to promote the appreciation of fine quilts; to sponsor and support quilting activities; to encourage quilt making and collection; to contribute to the growth of knowledge of quilting techniques, textiles, patterns, and quilt makers through educational meetings and travel.
If your organization is interested in applying for a grant, please complete The Grant Application Form which must be submitted in full by the last Tuesday of February. If the Executive Board approves the request, the grant will be awarded in May.
