Virtual Workshop - Curved Strip Sets (Swoopies)

This workshop starts with the basics of creating a curved strip slab using a large arc as a guide for our curves. The strip slab isn’t exactly improvisational piecing, but it isn’t exactly precision piecing either. It’s somewhere in the middle.Don’t worry about the ambiguity - you’ll receive very specific instructions during the workshop!

After you’ve created the strip slabs, there are a few options for your finished block. We’ll cover the steps necessary to make two kinds of blocks. Both utilize improvisational curved piecing skills that will be covered thoroughly.
