Marketplace may be a small section of Voices in Cloth, but don’t be fooled, it is a popular and dynamic place. Our area, jam-packed with a variety of member art items for sale, displays the artistry and diversity of styles. 

Whether visitors wander through Marketplace before or after the main show, they are eager to inspect the abundance of creatively crafted art. They are often ready to make a purchase!  We figure you've been sewing since the last show, so we welcome bed quilts, wall hangings, pillows, table toppers, garments, and other types of fiber art.

Marketplace Entry Rules:

  •  Entries must be crafted by current members of EBHQ.
  •  Six (6) items may be entered. Fill out a separate online form for each entry. 
  •  Items should be new, and in excellent condition.
  •  Quilts with 4" sleeves along the top edge may be hung for display, depending on space. Wall art quilts must have a sleeve.
  •  The maximum size of a quilt that can be hung is 60” x 60.” Larger quilts will be folded.
  •  All items must have a piece of paper with your name and item name safety pinned to the back of the item (bottom left). 
  • You are required to email a digital photo of each entry item with the following information: 

    • In the Subject Line type - Market Place and Choice Number (i.e. Market-01, Market-02, etc.) 
    • Email digital photos to:  EBHQ.VIC.Tech@gmail.com by February 9.
  • You set the sale price for your item. The minimum selling price is $30.
      • A group of items (placemats, napkins, etc.) must be submitted "attractively packaged for display" when delivered, and priced at a minimum of $30.  
      • No small single items individually priced will be accepted (i.e. one potholder for $10, etc.)
    • EBHQ retains 25% of the selling price of each item, or you may donate a different amount to the guild. (See Entry Form below). 
    • Items sold: The Marketplace committee will notify you of your sales a few days after the show. EBHQ VIC Treasurer will issue net checks (less donation) that will be postmarked by April 30, 2024.
    • Entry deadline, using the form below, is January 26.
    You are required to volunteer at least two hours to help in Marketplace This is in addition to any other volunteer requirements. (See below on the right).

      Volunteer Signups are now open. Go here.


      A minimum of 2 hours of volunteer time in Marketplace is required of you if you enter an item for sale.  This volunteer time is in addition to any volunteer time you may work for your Member Quilt entry.
