2024 PostcardsLet's make postcards for Voices in Cloth (VIC) 2024! Yes, fabric postcards! These teeny tiny quilts can be amusing, artful, clever, philosophical, stylish, chic, heartwarming: such an eloquent way to send a message to family and friends. Their availability at VIC is a significant fundraiser for our guild. Postcards are fun and easy to make. If you have never made fabric postcards, there are two stages: the collage or piecing of the design, and the quilting. Click here for printable instructions. Check out Susan Dague’s blog for her online instructions and samples. To print your own postcards on cardstock, click here for template. You can pick up postcard kits at Open Quilting on 2nd Tuesdays and 3rd Saturdays of the month, Sarah Kaplan’s porch, or Carolyn Weil’s porch. You can drop off finished postcards at the same locations, at an Open Quilting and/or when you drop off you entries on March 9. If you need to arrange for a different completed postcard delivery or have any other questions, please contact the VIC Postcard Co-Chairs, Diane Vecchi or Sarah Kaplan. See Member Directory for their contact info. Kits contain:
